It all started when…
Dr. Shantia Warren earned a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology in 2002 from Emory University. She continued to pursue her goals earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from North Georgia University (in consortium with Medical College of Georgia) in 2009. Dr. Warren offers a diversity of knowledge due to her experience in various healthcare settings across the United States including Georgia, Florida, California, and D.C.. During her fourteen years of service to physical therapy clients, she has specialized in outpatient therapy, aquatic therapy, acute care/ICU, inpatient rehab, and skilled nursing facilities. Additionally, she has fulfilled responsibilities as a Rehab Director of a nursing home as well as other leadership roles in her community. She gained skills with acute injuries, post-surgical, orthopedic and spine, general deconditioning, and neurological diagnoses. She also recently earned her certification in the Casley-Smith method of Complex Lymphatic Therapy.
In 2021, she accepted a position as adjunct professor at Philidelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Warren currently educated second-year physical therapy students on therapeutic interventions they will apply during their clinical rotations and as future physical therapist.
Dr. Warren utilizes a well-balanced treatment approach by treating the entire body to get the best results. She’s passionate about helping people to perform at their best functional level. She also understands therapy can sometimes be a part of a stressful situation and she strives to make this experience as positive as possible by focusing on achieving the client’s goals.
